DISPUTE ABOUT PAYMENT.
AUCKLAND CASE BEFORE THE ARBITRATION COURT. (By Telegraph.—Special, to "Star.") WfiEUNGTON; 'this day."' A dispute Concerning a claim for alleged financial loss on the part of waterside workers engaged,in the loading of the Norfolk at Auckland in May last was to-day referred to the Arbitration Court, the; National Disputes Committee having failed to come to any agreement. The facts were that a gang of watereiders was loading frozen cargo into a hatch, and worked on the day of their engagement. Next day there was no meat available for shipment, and the men were employed loading general cargo in the same hatch. On the third aay tney were again employed loading frozen meat in* the same hatch.
