ST. PETER'S OLD BOYS.
ANNUAL REUNION.
The annual reunion of the past and present members of the J*™* """j? institutions connected, with St. Peters Presbyterian Church, Grey .Lynn, was held last evening under the auspices of the St. Peter's Old Boys' Association. Th« Rev. Thomas Halliday presided over an attendance of between eighty and ninety who assembled in the Church Hall. Following the una! custom after the singing of the National Anthem a moment's silence waa observed in honour of those members who gave' their lives in the Great War, and others who.had passed away. The officer* comprising Rev. T. Hamday, president Mr. F. W. Bnnaden, chairman of committee, Mr. A. D. Campbell, secretary, and Messrs. Ness, Ramr nay. Bannatyne,- Carr, Johnson, and Little, committee-men, were re-elected.
after which an enjoyable mutual ami elocutionary programme m tends]? the contributors including Messm. Mmties. K. Ramsay. Wright, Yatea, MeCsr. taick, McLennan, Peter, Davie, Carkaa and the Peerless Orchestra (Mr. CogaW conductor). Intervals were nlledvjyj story «nd reminiscence by many of these present, including a number who .weft making their first appearance at a itunion and one of whom had faataßta from as far aa Whangarei to be ptasait, Votes of thanks to the ladies, beaded by Mrs. P. K. Ness, who had arranssl ■upper, to Mrs. A. D. Campbell, wfc, acted as accompanist, and to others we* had contributed to the success of the gathering preceding the singing of Aalf Lang Syne, with which and the Nataosal Anthem, the evening terminated.
