NOT GOING SOUTH.
The Epsom trainer, H. Kinnamont, has decided not to make the trip to Wellington with Gold Jacket and Black Gold. The Tatter was lame on Saturday when being jogged on the lead and, though the trouble may not prove serious, there was no encouragement to take a lame one away. Gold Jacket has been going along all right and was nicely handicapped, but owing to the wet weather Kinnamont has not been able to give the son of Gold Bell a systematic preparation and he would have liked to have had the use of a good track on which regular work could be given.
