In the Magistrate's Court this morning before Mr. F.. K. Hunt, S.M., A. Grossman and Company, Limited (Mr. Terry) sought to recover-£45 frnm.J,JEL Robertson, Limited (Mr. Schramm). *
Plaintiff company,, in its. statement of claim, stated that by agreement for hire, and purchase bearing.date of January 27, 1926, it hired to Edward Albert Bridger, of- Avondalev certain furniture to the total value of £56: A term of such hire was that until paid for in accordance with that agreement \ the, furniture was to remain the property of plaintiff, company. In or about July of this year defendant company took. The plaintiff company had demanded possession of the goods and sold them, possession of the goods oj their value and defendant company had refused liability therefor. . •;•;; . Defendant., company stated that Bridger had made certain false statements to them. Further, that the goods bought .by it from Bridger were not the same as those set out Iff plain ti£Ts claim.
