PRIMARY BOYS' MATCH.

CATHOLICS BEATEN.

As a curtain raiser to the schools' Test match teams representing the •Auckland primary schools and the Catholic Schools 'met on Blandford Park on Saturday afternoon. Teams:—

Catholic Primary,—Meehan, Wallace McKeown, Sinclair, Soreoson, Beatty, CLeary, t - Stanley, ' Barry, Hawkes Brazzi. ■ • ■• •

Auckland had the better of the opening stages, and early in the game Everett received from Sloane and scored easily Auckland 1, Catholic Primary 0. After the Catholics had forced a corner the ball travelled to the other end, and Yarnton centred beautifully, but Catholic Primary cleared. A minute or two later Yarnton scored with a high shot. Auckland 2, Catholic Primary 0. Catholic boys forced two corners. Auckland cleared, and plav remained in Catholic Primary's half till Yarnton secured and centred.
