FOR THE LITTLE ONES
MATCH-BOX COTTAGE. DOOR, WINDOWS, AND POINTED ROOF. Looking closely at the outside part of the box, you'll see that one side is folded double. Slip the point of a knife 5 or the blade of your seusors between the two edges, and cut the paper, holding them together. You can then open the "da, as shown in the picturfj to make it form a pointed shape like a roof. A door and windows may be marked on the front of the house with chalks or paints. To finish the roof cut a strip of paper coloured hkc red tiles or blue slates, and paste it to the pointed shape made by the opened side of the match-box cover. Our house is now complete. Others can be made in the same way, but coloured differently.
