TAHITI AT SYDNEY. I The R-M.s. Tahiti arrived at Sydney, via I ports, this morning. She is dne to leave Sydney on Thursday nest and Wellington I on Tuesday, September 13 for San Francisco, via Island ports. MATAKANA HOME. A cable from London reports the arrival there on Thursday of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.'s steamer Matakana. from Dunedin. The vessel cleared Dunedin on July 20. THE OCEAN TRANSPORT. To R. Millar and Company's agency, the steamer Ocean Transport is expected to arrive at Auckland from Texas on Monday. Her sulphur cargo will be unloaded at the King's wharf. SOMERSET TO-MORROW. Bringing general cargo from Liverpool, the Federal Line steamer Somerset is expected to arrive at Auckland at day-break to-morrow, she will berth at the Queen's I wharf. The Somerset's other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lytteltpn, Dunedin and Bluff. TOFUA'S BERTH From the Western Pacific Islands, the steamer Tofua is expected to arrive at Auckland on Monday. Up till mid-day today she had not reported the exact time of her arrival. The Tofua has been allotted a berth at the Prince's wharf. AORANGI AT SUVA. Bound from Sydney and Auckland to Vancouver, the Union Co.'s R.M.m.s. Aorangi arrived at Suva yesterday morning, and was to leave there in continuation of her voyage yesterday afternoon. She Is I due at Vancouver on September 16. THE ROTORUA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorna left London on Thursday for Southampton to embark passengers for New Zealand. She was to leave Southampton yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on October S. Hence she is to go to Wel- : lington to complete discharge. CAMBRIDGE LOADING. I An arrival at Auckland late yesterday afternoon was the Federal Line steamer •Cambridge, from Tokomaru Bay.
