The Canterbury Centre wrote protesting neainst the proposal by the Wellington Wanjranui.. Manawntn and Tnranafci Cen tres to combine for the purpose of holding regional championships, to be called the West Coast championships. The Canter bury Centre considered that if such championships were permitted they would prejudice the success of the New Zealand championships. The chairman said that this matter was receiving the attention of the Rules Committee.
