OFFICIALS APPOINTED.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent) - HAMILTON, this day. The first meeting of the new committee of the Waikato Racing Club was held last night. Mr. G. W. Vercoe was reappointed chairman. Mr. Wynn Brown, who had served on the committee for the past six or seven years, designed, and Mr. R. T. Reid was appointed in his stead. Mr. Brown was thanked for his services. The following officials were appointed: Handicapper, Mr. W. P. Russell; judge, Mr. R. B. Lusk; starter, Mr. R. H. Skipworth; timekeeper, Mr. J. K. Douglas; clerk of scales, Mr. H. B. Massey; clerk of course, Mr. R. Casey.
