BIRKDALE PUBLIC HALL.
A public meeting was held In the above hall of the residents of Birkdale to hear the report and balance-sheet of the Birkdale Public Hall, and for the election of the managing committee for the ensuing year. The trustees and guarantors are Messrs. W. G. Wood. A- Hopkins. R. F. Kay. J. M. Brown and P. G. Lee. and these, with the addition of Messrs. A. Bentley, H. S. Collins. W. Hewson. G. Hopkins. J. Bishop and Walker, were appointed as a committee of management for the ensuing year.
