A WAR MARRIAGE.
RESTITUTION DECREE AGAINST WIFE IN ENGLAND.
"One of these unfortunate war-time marriages"' was counsel's description, of the union of Alexander Reginald Ellis, who petitioned in the Supreme Court yesterday for a restitution order against Oliva Blanche Ellis. Mr. Denniston said the parties were married in London in 1916. In 19*21, with his wife's full consent, the husband left England to make a home in New Zealand. As soon as he obtained per* manent employment and could afford the money, he sent her £30 to enable her to come oat, but she refused to join hin», and did not accept the money. His Honor made a decree, ordering respondent to return within 60 days.
