Moslcv, S.M., when Albert Cox. charged with Ihc theft of the Mayor's overcoat, appeared in the Police CourL As accuscd was willing to take out a prohibition onler, the charge was dismissed. The magistrate said he had had an opportunity of perusing pertain document,'! relating to Cox's scrvice. His record of scrvie dated back to ISSI and bis term tn the Navy wax long and creditablc. His service in the Great War was quite satisfactory. In view of this and the fact that the informant had asked that the Court be lenient, the magistrate said he frit inclined to give Cox another chance. lu reply to a que.-lion. Cox said he was in receipt of a military jwnsion. The magistrate advised him to get steady work.
