VLTOfGES IMTO RIVER. TWO MEN ESCAPE INJURY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. A motor ear conveying the morning newspaper to the Wairarapa struck a big stone in the Taita Gorge and plunged into the Hutt River, 30ft below, yesterday. The driver and the only passenger escaped without injury. Two of the car's wheels were buckled.
