Gray, chairman of the Fruit Control Board, will be unable-to act as the board's representative in Great Britain next season. The board has decided to defer the appointment of a permanent representative in Britain, as Mr. H. E. Stephens, who -has been a member since its inception, representing Nelson, has agreed to act in London next season. He will leave New Zealand in December, and will return again in October or November, 1928. The board feels that the appointment will give general satisfaction.
