Mussolini celebrated his forty-fourth birthday working in his office while most people were at the seaside escaping the terrible heat of the city, telegraphs the Rome correspondent of the " Dailv Mail.*' "Il'Duce" smiled happily when people congratulated him on the approaching birth of his fourth child. '•Not the fourth, but the first of a new series/' he said.
