HUNTLY THRONGED WITH MINERS. (('.. ..M.ES TO BE HELD TO DAY (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") HUNTLY, this day. An air of expectancy lumps ovci Huntly to-day, owing to the fact thai employees representing the northern miners are concentrating on it to discuss the Pukemiro trouble, and ihe mine owners' secretary (Mr. T. O. Bishop) 1* due to arrive from Wellington to po inlc the question. The township is thronged with miner.-, early trains from Pukemiro township and the colliery being well patronised. The consensus of opinion amongst the men is that a settlement will be reached when the position is put to Mr. Bishop. The conference with him is scheduled for .'{.:>(! o'clock, and it is expected that it will la>( several hours.
