CENTRE POLES.
I notice that the removal of tramwa\ centre poles is again demanded. They may k dangerous to tramwaymen and motorists, but to the pedestrian crossing Queen Street they ® r ®. a blessing. I like to think I can dodge behind one and murmur, as a motor dashes by, II cannot harm me now; 1 M •torists do not deserve the whole of the roa<l centre poles keep them to their proper m Ic. TIMIP.
