AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL CUP. SECOND ROUND CONCLUDED. THIS MORXTN'G"? RESULTS. The second round of matches ia the Auckland provincial hockey tournament was played at Remuera this morning. The ground was a little drier Cian yesterday, but it *howed >igns of becoming rough. Condition? allowed faster play than in the first round. The outstanding performance this morning was that of Whakatan<\ who ran over Waihi. winning bv In jpoals to 0. Whangarei an<i Auckland played an even game, and so did Piako and Waipa.
