(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent) \ CHRISTCHURCH, this day. \ Steady progress \ n the electrical . development of Christchureh and satisfactory financial result* of the year's working are recorded in the annual report of the municipal electricitv department for the year which ended on March 31 last. The profit from the sale of electricitv 1 was £23.997, compared with £30,9.33 in I the previous year, and .£14.320 in the year which ended on March 31, 192-j. The profit on the trading account (wiring, show-room and garage) was £261!) 15/0. After making the usual payments to the sinking fund reserve. . a balance of £14,498 12/11 was left, the whole of which was transferred to the ' sinking fund reserve.
