NORTH AUCKLAND'S ADVANCE OUTPUT FROM WHAITGAREL NEARLY DOUBLED IN JUNE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day.

An example of the striking increase in dairy production in North Auckland is Been in the figures of the Whangarei and Maungaturqto companies. Last month the butter output of the Whangarei factojry was 24 tons 13cwt, against 12 tons 2cwt in June, 1926. The output for the season to date is 1168 tons 7c\vt, against 882 'tons 16cwt in the corresponding period last year. The Maungaturoto company's payout for May was £1436 13/9, at the rate of 1/3 per lb, against £692 4/6 at the rate of 1/5 per lb in May, 1926. For the season to date the total pay-out is £41,589 5/9, at the rate of 1/3$ per lb, compared with £35,789 4/8 at the rate of 1/6 per lb in the corresponding I period last year.
