. . . . WASHINGTON, June 29. The Navy Department is about to order a new dirigible, which will mount guns and. carry five aeroplanes. The airship is expected to be the largest in" the world. It is to be completed by 1925. It will have a cruising range of 7500 statute miles at 50 knots, and with a maximum speed of 70 knots. The dirigible will require a crew of 45 men. It will contain 0,500,000 cubic feet of gas. Helium will probably he used. The cost is expected to be £900,000. Ife • VICE-REGAL FLIGHT. OTTAWA TO MONTREAL. (Received 1 p.m.) MONTREAL, June 29. The Governor-General and Lady Willingdon flew from Ottawa to Montreal to-day.
