Republican Reprisal On Court

TARRED AND FEATHERED
LONDON, June 27
A party of men raided the house of Mr. Joseph Parks, a master builder, at Dundalk. Mrs. Parks and her daughter were locked up and Mr. Parks was blindfolded and motored to a lonely part of the Dundalk racecourse.
There he was stripped and tarred and feathered.
The action "vas a reprisal for the giving of evidence by Mr. Parks in Dubfin when three Republicans were imprisoned for stealing ammunition.
Six arrests hare been made in con nection with tho outrage.
