DISPUTE OVER DRAINAGE.

HAMILTON, this day.
The case in which Ethel Winifred Williams, wife of James Gordon Williams, farmer, of Orini, sued Percival J. Masters, a neighbouring farmer, for £200 damages, or an injunction restraining him from draining water on to plaintiff's land, was continued yesterday, and after bearing evidence his Honor reserved judgment. Judgment for Plaintiff. Giving judgment in the case this morning, His Honor held that defendant's draining operations were causing damage to plaintiff's land, and allowed him £5 damage. He granted an injunction restraining defendant from carrying on drainage operations-so as to discharge water from his land cm to plaintiff's land in greater volume or more rapidly than before plaintiff went into occupation of her property. The writ is not to issue out of the Court, except upon an application made to a Judge, after six months from the date of judgment. Costs were allowed plaintiff.
