FASHION PARADE.
The display which is being made by the New Zealand-made Preference League will conclude at the Town Hall this evening. The exhibition has been well patronised, and has directed attention to many high-class articles which. can be produced in the Dominion. The mannequin parade was again the big feature of ■the Saturday sessions, ladies' and men's wearing apparel being presented in great variety. General admiration was expressed at the quality of the New Zealand'fabrics.
A ballet, trained by Mdlle Valeska. gave a number of dances, items were given by Maori and Highland dancers, and music were supplied by an orchestra under the leadership of Mr. A. F. Frost.
