FIJI DIVIDENDS.
SUVA, June 15.
The annual meeting of Morris, Hedetrom, Ltd., disclosed the fact that 1926 had proved a good year. As a result the rate of dividend was increased from 6 to 7 per cent. Then the annual meeting of A. H. Mar low, Ltd., in which Morris, Hedstrom. Ltd.. is largely interested, was pleasurably gratified at the announcement that a dividend would be paid this year. As the company is a private one, the rate was not disclosed.
On June 9, Sturt Oglivie, Ltd., whose capital is £20,000 paid up, held their annual meeting and declared a dividend of seven per cent on the capital, seven per cent was placed to reserve, and 7 per cent was paid to all employees who had been in the employ for one year. Fiji is very sound.
