MANTJKAU CLUB. The seventeen miles cycling handicap staged by the Manukau Cycling Club on Saturday attracted a big field. The race was over three laps of the Mangere course, and resulted as follows:— W. Dwight. smln 1 H. Deakin. smin 2 P. Piatt. s|min 3 A. C. Newtb. 51 min 4 A. W. Pinker. smin 5 Winner's time. 47m 555. Fastest time was recorded by F. Casey (30s) 43m 3s; second fastest being H. Dwight (30s) 43m 3 3-ss. Five Miles and a half Junior Trial (sealed handicap).—A. G. Stone, 15m 465. 1; A. Sircombe, 16m ss. 2. Sealed handicap result: L. Penfold 1. C. Constable 2, A. G. Stone 3. There were six starters. Manukau Cycling Club's 17 Miles Open Handicap.—W. Dwight. sm, 1; H. Deakin. sm, 2; P. Piatt, 5Jm, 3. Time, 47 555. Fastest time: F. J. Casey (30s), 46m 3s. There were 21 starters.
