NO REAL RUPTURE
BALKAN POSITION.
British Disinclined to Serious
View.
MODERATION WILL PREVAIL
(By Cable —Press Association.—Copyright.)
LONDON, June S. There is no tendency in British circles to take a grave view of the trouble between Yugoslavia and Albania. Confidence is felt that counsels of moderation will prevail. It is noted that while Yugoslavia has withdrawn her Charge d'Affaires from Tirana, the Albanian Minister remains at Belgrade, therefore there is as yet no real rupture. The Italian Press vigorously denies the imputations from Belgrade that Italy is in any way responsible. On the contrary, the Belgrade Press is cited as indicating that Yugoslavia prepared the rupture for the purpose of questioning the Treaty of Tirana before the League of Nations. The Italian papers say pointedly that the Prime Minister, Sigiior Mussolini, is too busy with the internal reconstruction of the country to be drawn into an "insignificant quarrel."
