Will she be eligible for membership T I worked out the broken crossword puzzle which appeared a fortnight npo, but I did not win a prize or a certificate. However I may as well tell you now, that my motto 19 'Keep Trying."' 1 have a dear little fox-terrier puppy at home. It is white with brown ears, and a big, round, brown spot in the middle of its 'back. I've ulso got a black cat, two I white rabbit* and a pony, whose name is Jeff.
J am in Standard VI. at school, and 1 ride Jeff there and back every day, and it's great fun. 1 am going to enter for any competitions that 1 am able, and try and "Be Loyal" like a true Budgetite. I'm not used to writing long letters, and I'm feeling tired, so I will finish this, and wish you every luck. From your new friend,

Dear Peter Pan,
I am pleased to inform you that 1 have received a certificate which declares me one of the happy members of your excellent club. My little sister, aged 10. was so delighted that she said, "Oh Rosa! DO ask Peter Pan if 1 too may join," bo of course I said I would. Do you think she is too young T I entered for the competition in last Wednesday's Budget, but I couldn't solve all the jumbled named. However, it was my lirst attempt, so I intend to have another try f<jr the next competition. We had a lovely little puppy given to us the other day, and my pet cat Tinnie got quite jealous. We al.lo keep canaries and my brother rears some fine pigeons. I have to ride three miles to school, but I don't mind, neither does my pony, Dobin, for we both enjoy the gallop in the fresh country air. Well, dear Peter Pan, Dobin ie neighing for his day, so I will havo to say good-bye, with every wish for a prosperous reign as Captain of our Chun, from An Enthusiastic Club Member, KOSA PUKTEK.
