TWO MISSIONARIES RETURN
WELCOME HOME. a ■*rnere Tas a very happy gathering of members of the Shacklcton Road Baptist Church, Mount Eden, to welcome home f two of their missionary members in Mr. and Mrs. E. Keith Rimrucr, who have . been •working under the Sudan United \ Mission in the Anglo-Egyption Sudan, : Africa. l Mr. Rimmer left New Zealand for the mission field in August, 1922, and has t done great pioneer work in establishing I the present mission station at Rom, - which, is about 2000 miles down the River Kile and in the heart of a great J country teeming with millions of pagan ( people. Mrs. Rimmer completed her c training at the Bible Training Institute t an Auckland, and left New Zealand in January, 1925, to join Mr. Rimmer. They _ are now resting for a few months after t their strenuous labours during these past [ years. t The Rev. J. Russell Grave presided over an attendance of about 130 memhers of the church and Bible classes. v "Welcomes were voiced by the church y secretary, Mr. A. T. Dow, and the vari- y ous branches of the church life. j Mr. and Mrs. Rimmer both expressed themselves as being happy at being again amongst their friends, but spoke of the great need of workers out in that pagan l country, so much so that during their ' absence their station will be closed. e
