PHARMACEUTICAL SOCIETY.

The northern division of the Pharmaceutical Society held a dinner on Wednesday. The president, Mr. R. Cotternll, presided, and there were about eighty present. The following toasts were honoured:—"The King," "The British Medical Association," "The New Zealand Dental Association," "Visiting Pharmacists." and "The Wholesale Drug Trade." The B.M.A. was represented by Drs. K. B. Gunson, 0. Ernton Sweet, nnd K. H. B. Milsom. and Dr. C. E. Maguire, Superintendent of the Auckland Hospital, was also present. Mr. H. C. C'olson represented the Dental Association; Messrs. W. A. Taaffe and G. E. Read. jm\. the Auckland Association of Optometrists, Mr. J. Baillie, of Hamilton, the visiting pharmacists, and there were representatives of the various local wholesale houses and several overseas drug funis. The Lyric Quartette helped in no small degree to make the function a very pleasant one.
