WANGANTJI RIVER RESCUE
IBy Telegrspb.—OwD Correspondent.)
WANGANUJ, Monday,
It is feared that Mm Betty Facer, who pluekily rescued a man from drowning in the .river on Friday night, will develop pneumonia. She was recovering from the effects of influenza, and her immersion in the icy cold water did not improve her condition. After she had rescued the man, rather than take a tramear she ran ana walked to her home, and arrived in an exhausted condition.
