D'URVILLE ISLAND FIND.

While sowing grass seed on D'Drville Island a few days ago, three eons of Mr. Frank Wells observed a cave on a rocky ridge. On entering it they were amazed to discover an almost complete skeleton of a moa (states an exchange). They carefully collected the bones and carried them home. The neck bones when joined up measured 7ft, and it is estimated that the total height of the moa was about lift. The cave is situated almost directly opposite the French Paee, and less than a mile from the beach.
