NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY

EXECUTIVE APPOINTED. MR. SEMPLE PRESIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") NAPIER, Tuesday. The New Zealand Labour Party Conference to-day appointed the following officers: —President, Mr. R. Semple; vicepresident, Rev. J. K. Archer; secretary, Mr. W. Nash; central executive, Messrs. T. Brindle, J. Roberts, J. T. Horn, J. Glover, and W. Bromley. In addition, the following are members of the provincial executive, having been elected by their respective districts prior to the conference: —Messrs. W. E. Barward (Helensville), M. J. Savage (Auckland), D. W. Coleman (Gisborne), •T. S. Montgomery (Mangere), W. J. Rogers (Wanganui), A. Spurr (Lower Hutt), T. Parfitt (Westport), F. G. Cook (Christchurch), G. T. K oiler (Timaru), and F. Jones (Dunedin). Mr. H. E. Holland presented the report of the Parliamentary Party, which was discussed and adopted unanimously.
