EARLY MORNING COLLISION.

TAXI AND MOTOR-CYCLE. YOUXG MAX IXJCRED. (Br Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) XEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. Two motor accidents occurred near •Eltham yesterday. The first was at about 3 a.m., when a Xew Plymouth taxi, driven by Mr. W. Harris, collided with a motor cycle ridden by a young man, Mr. David Martin, of Eltham Road. Mr. Martin was taken to hospital suffering from a double compound fracture of the left leg and other injuries. His cycle was wrecked. The car was saved by its bumper. The collision occurred at the crest of a rise in the road. The second accident occurred about 5 p.m. south of Xgaere. a car. ''owned by Mr. L. Goldstone. of Eltham, and driven hy Mr. L. Michel, of Eltham, capsizing. The car was not extensively damaged, but Mr. Goldstone and a passenger, Mr. J. CHagen, were taken to the hospital. The former had a broken collarbone and the latter suffered from abrasion* and shock.
