DAMAGE AT WAIUKU.
ESTIMATED AT £10.0oti. (By Telegraph. — Own o>rrrpi><niilfnt.) WAIUKU, this day. The damage done by tire 011 Sunday morning is estimated at £10,000. The building occupied by Mi~s Maurice was owned by Mr. G. Stone, of Auckland. and was insured for £200 in the State Oftice. There was ,il«o a policy of £130 on Miss Maurice's furniture in the same office. Millers. Ltd.. had a policy of £1000 in the Globe Otlice 011 their footwear stock, etc. Their shop was owned by Mr. S. Bright, of Maioro. Wallace Supplies. Ltd.. are clo=elv allied with the National Trading Company, Ltd.. of Auckland, and it is understood that the latter firm ownea the building. This was valued at several thousand pounds, and the stocks carried would represent at least several thousand pounds.
