A CAFE OF QUALITY
The Delmonico Cafe has long since established for itself a reputation for high-class service. It is situated upstairs at 175, Queen Street, next to His Majesty's Theatre. Something more than an ordinarily select menu is enjoyed at the Delmonieo, for it is backed up by that excellence of cooking which continues to distinguish the meals served at this cafe. After an experience of the flavour of a grill, or the daintiness of a Delmonico omelette, one is not surprised to learn that a Continental chef of world-wide experience i-= the presiding gcni'.is at the range. The cost of the refreshment is a matter for the customer's determination. There are three and four course meals at 1/ti and '!/, or fowl at 'if, while tile grill list ranges from l/(> to 2/0. A selection of fresh fish and cold meat.* is also available so that all inclinations may be satisfied. Soup, fish, entrees, hot joints and sweets comprise the general menu, and under each heading one i* given a good variety of choice. The Delmonico has grown in favour as a rendezvous for private parties, and modern conditions arc constantly tending to bring this popular cafe into frequent use for wedding parties. Only those wiio have experienced the anxiety and fatigue of preparing a wedding breakfast, or who have had to entertain an unusually large number of guests. can fully appreciate the satisfaction and relief of being able to avail themselves of tin: Delmonico. Professional service, the outcome of experience and training, is always available, and hosts ami hostesses need no longer be burdened with the anxieties of suitably providing for their guests. They may enter into the spirit of their parties witli carefree minds, with the result that hosts and guests will rtfap the greatest possible amount of enjoyment. Parties up to 100 in number can be conveniently catered for and comfortably accommodated. The charges vary from 3/0 to £1 1/ for, each person, according to the requirements. Jt will thus be seen that intending hosts may know beforehand exactly what the costs will be. The labour and strain of preparation will be removed and the trying aftermath of clcaning-up will l. e avoided. There are many advantages in dining out when offering personal hospitality or entertaining a large party, and'in all such circumstances the Delmonico Cafe may be relied upon to give the fullest possible satisfaction.
