Brown Sugar Ginger 4 tablespoons Treacle loz. Candied Peel i teaspoon Spice Sift flour, spices, and carb. soda. Rub butter into flour with tips of fingers. Add sugar and candied peel, finely chopped. Beat egg well, add it to treacle and milk, and mix well. Pour into flour, etc, mix quickly and lightly.
