(electric radiators and paints); Evans Hooper (agricultural implements); G. A. Bond and Co. (hosiery); Napier Woollen Mills (woollen goods); Big Orange Co. (orange drink); Cattle cake and Oil Co. (linseed oil and cattle cake); J. B. McEwan Co. (pumps); Rushton Motors (carburettor appliance for reducing the consumption of pis); Reed Loom Co. (furniture); J. B. Shacklock and Co. (electric stoves); Palmer, Collins and Whittaker (leather goods); Ambler and Co. (shirts): Borlci, Ltd. (corsets); Dearsleys, Ltd. (boots and shoes); Macky, Logan, Caldwell and Co., Ltd (woollen goods); Wellington Woollen Mills (woollen goods); Onehunga Mills (blankets and rugs); Kaiapoi Woollen Company (woollen goods) ; Le Roy (tents and camping appliances); Colonial Ammunition Co. (ammunition and crown seals); Xestles, Ltd. (Highlander milk) : Tattersfield, Ltd. (hall rugs and bedding) ; S. A. Smith and Co. (Old Dutch Cleanser); Ross and Glendining, Ltd., (woollens and manufactured clothing; Union Oil, Soap and Candle Co. (soap and oil products); J. Pine (sarsaparilla): British Imperial Paint Co. (paints); Mt. Eden Turnery (turned woods); Auto Machine Co. (wire nails); Johns, Ltd. (wireless apparatus). Some of the leading firms are not exhibiting, partly owing to the lack of space and partly because thev are engaged in preparing for their annual displays at the winter exhibition. Woollen Section Leads. All except six of the firms of exhibitors have factories in Auckland, indicating that the movement has been well taken up in the city. The strong representation in the woollens section draws attention to the need of public support for this important industry. The league seeks to achieve its objects not by legislation nor by tariffs, but by the free of the people.
