FIRE BRIGADESMEN.
DEMONSTRATION AT WAIHI. VAHIOIS COMPETITIVE EVENTS. At the Auckland District Fire Brigades' Association demonstration, which will be held at Waihi on Easter .<N»turdny, 104 teams will take part in the various competitions. Entries have been received from as far north as Darraville and Whanpnrei. and as far south as Tnumantnui. The secretary (Mr. Watt! expects additional entries from East Coast and the Thames districts. There are seven events on the programme. the number of teams already entered beinp in parentheses:—Two men wet event (25); two men bay rescue (10); five men dressing (10); tliree men draw for places (19); five men. hose, reel nnd ladder (10); five men disabled hose (10) j one man ladder race (20). |
