WARSHIPS' CRUISES.
VISITS TO. THE SOUTH. The warships Dioniede, Laburnum and Veronica, will all have left Auckland for cruises to South Island ports by the middle of March. LI.M.s. Laburnum sailed on Saturday and will observe the following itinerary:—Arrive Lyttelton March 1, nail March 'J; arrive Wellington March 10. sail March 21; arrive Pieton March 21, sail March 30; arrive Napier March 31, sail April 7; arrive Tauranga April 8, soil April 10: arrive Hauraki Gulf April 11 aild Auckland April 13. The Laburnum will then remain in port until May, when she will leave for the South Sea Islands. H.M.s. Dioniede will sail on Wednes. day for Wellington. She will leave Wellington on March |1 for Chatham Islands; leave Chatham Islands on March 13 for Timaru; leave Timaru March 20 and arrive at Bluff on March 21. Her movements after leaving Bluff have not yet been announced. H.M.s. Veronica is to «ail for the South on March 14, and she will be absent for nearly two' months. Her itinerary is:—Arrive, Tokomaru Hav March 15, sail March 17, arrive Tologa Bay March 17, sail March 18; arrive. Akaroa March 21, sail March 23; arrive Dimodin March 24, sail March 31: arrive Timaru April' 1, sail' April 4. arrive Lyttelton April ,">, sail April S: arrive Pieton April A, sail April 13; arrive Nelson April 14, sail April IS; airive Wellington April 19, sail May 3; return to Auckland May 6.
