CROSSING ACCIDENT.

The first evening train from Rotorua yesterday wa = run into by a motorlorry at Okoroire station crossing. The lorry was driven by Mr. C.eorge Warren, a well-known farmer of the district. His view was obscured by a line of trucks, and he was unable to n\ert a collision with the roar portion of the train.
The lorry was smashed and the driver received two scalp wounds and hody bruises. He -was brought to Matamata, and had not recovered consciousness this morning. His condition is critical.
