February IS. j Important steps arc being taken | with the object of expanding the I trade both ways between Britain and j the Dominions. British manufacturers arc increasingly awakening to the potentialities of the New Zealand and Australian market*. Moreover, the Empire Marketing Board is intensifying its campaign for expanding sales of Dominion produce. The board has established an office at Liverpool, where fruit experts in touch with the retailers a«d the Dominion producers arc investigating the questions of packing and quality. It is understood that branches are also to be opened at other ports with a view to facilitating marketing and ad- ; vcrtising. The Federation of British Industries I.* co-operating with the Australian Association and British manufacturers in organising an exhibition at Melbourne as part of the campaign. This exhibit- i tion will l>e held in February, March and April. 1925. The federation hopes that . 2.°»0 manufacturers will exhibit all classes of poods except motors. i'
