UNDEFENDED DIVORCE.

MILKMAN AS CO-RESPONDENT

Citing the milkman as co-respondent, Thomas Watson Arthur, puolic accountant, Auckland, (Mr. .Matthew,) succeeded in obtaining a decree nis; against Annie Elizabeth Arthur before -Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Lourt this morning. Mr. R. A. Singer, who appeared for the respondent and Jack White, the corespondent, intimated that the defence hail been withdrawn.

The parties were married in London, on June 11, 1919, and had lived happiiy until last year, when the respondent, obtained a separation order against the petitioner. Ilie terms of the order were that the respondent should have possession of the house. The petitioner had seen the co-respondent, who was the milkman, go into the house early in the morning and also at night. One night in November last, the petitioner, "in compain with two private inr,uir\ agents, broke into the house and found the respondent and co-respondent sitting on a settee in a compromising attitude. The co-respondent denied misconduct, but had admitted that he had been to the house on other occasions.

A decree nisi was granted with costs against the co-respondent.
