WEDDINGS.
The wedding was solemnised at St. Rsxnabas' Church, Mount Eden Road, on Wednesday evening, February 16, between Ada Beryl, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Robertson, "NorJ*nd," Stokes Road, Mount Eden, and Erie Raymond, third son of Mr. and Mtt. W. Butler, of Campbell Road, Grey I;jnn. The E. Bamford offi®*t«d, and the.chufch.had been taste™py decorated by friends of the bride. The bride, who wis given away by her father, wore a frock of silver lace, with overdress of ivdry' georgette. The veil which formed t&e train was Jjeld in place with sprays of orange Mossom. She carried a white shower bouquet. The bridesmaids, Miss Daphne
Saunders and Miss Rene Wilson, friends of the bride, both wore sunset taffeta shot with silver and trimmed with beaded medallions and silver ribbon. Their headdresses were of sunset tulle, and they carried posies to tone. Mr. G. Wing acted as best man, and Mr. L. Robertson brother of the bride, as groomsman. After the cerenlony a reception was held at the Holly Tearooms. Mrs. Robertson received her guests wearing a frock of fawn georgette and navy hat, and Mrs. Butler wore grey crepe de chine and black hat.
The wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew's Church, Pukekohe. a few evenings ago, of Miss Elma Grant, only daughter of Mrs. D. Hunt, of Pukekawa. to Mr. Arthur P. Roache, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Roache, of Tauranga. The bride, who was accompanied to the church by her brother, Mr. A. L. Grant, wore a frock of silver tissue and lace. The silver lace overdress was caught on the hip with a large silver bow, the end falling in a short iish-tail train. A train of pink tulle and silver was held on the shoulder with pink and silver roses. A bouquet of pink and white flowers completed a toilette. Miss Potter, of Auckland, and Miss Audrey Aileen Roache, of Tauranga, and Miss Joyce Roulston, of Pukekohe, were bridesmaids. They wore mauve taffeta and Juliette caps of silver tissue, and carried shower bouquets of pink and mauve asters. Two tiny train-bearers, Audrey Roulston and June Evans, wore dainty frocks and caps of cream lace trimmed with pink rosebuds. The officiating minister was the Rev. J. P. Cowie. Air. F. J. Brown was best man, and Mr. Keith Pike groomsman. Miss Ivy Duncan officiated at the organ, while the choir consisted of girl friends of the bride. A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Roulston in Carlton Road. Mrs. Roulston, aunt of the bride, wore pleated saxe blue crepe de chine and cape lined with palest pink georgette, and hat trimmed with ospreys, and carried a bouquet of blue and pink asters. The bride's mother, Mrs. Hunt, wore Havana brown marocain, bordered in shades of henna, blue and cinnamon. Her hat was to tone, and she carried a bouquet of autumn shades. Mrs. Roache, mother of the bridegroom, wore red georgette embroidered in black chenille and a Spanish shawl and hat with shaded ostrich plumes. Her shower bouquet was in shades to tone.
