MELBOURNE HIDES SALES. MELBOURNE, February 17. At the. Melbourne hides Kales to-day prices were irregular. Kips declined one farthing. Lights were from par to oneeighth lower. Other grades were unchanged. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. (Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Latest quotations are:—Wheat, 5/0% per bushel, parcels 5/1%; flour, £12 10/ per ten, cash 5/ concession; Oats, 3/4 to 4/5 per bushel, feed 3/2; barley. English malting 4/, feed 3/4, Cape malting 3/7, feed. 3/; potatoes, £8 10/ to £9 10/ per ton; onions, £3 5/ to £3 10/. SYDNEY, February 17. The following are to-day's quotations ou the Sydney produce market:— Wheat.—4/5% at country stations, equal to 5/1 ex truck Svdnev. Flour.—£ll 10/. Maize.—7/3. Oats.—Tasmanian White Giants, 4/ to 4/3; Algerian, 3/9. Potatoes, tasmanian, £13 to £13 10/Victorian, £14. Onions.—£6 10/ to £7. Adelaide prices are:— Wheat.—Growers' Lots, 4/11%; parcels, 5/l%d. Oats.—2/4 to 2/6. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, February 17. At the last of the Sydney wool sales to-day the strong demand for Meryios which has been the principal feature of recent sales, was well maintained. Prices throughout for remained unchanged. Weddel and Co., Ltd., London, advising that the Dairy Control Board have reduced the price of white cheese 2/, and coloured 3/ per cwt. CHICAGO WHEAT. CHICAGO, February IS.
