ESCORT AT TOWN HALL.

A communication was received by the Mayor (Mr. Geo. Baildon) from Commodore Swabey, officer in charge of the New Zealand Naval Division, stating that on the arrival of H.M.s. Renown, next Tuesday, and after the civic reception at the head of the Queen's wharf, a party of 270 seamen and marines from the warship, headed by the band of H.M.s. Renown, will march, via Queen Street, to the Town Hall, to form a naval escort to the Duke and Duchess of York, both on their arrival and departure from there.
