In these accidents 25S persons «rrp killed and 4oSO were injured. Of this number 144 deaths and 3<I0(I injuries occurred in the Svdnev met Toluol itan area. The revenue collected under the "Motor Traffic Act was £1.120.000, compared with -£560.27S in 192-5. The motor traffic licenses issued numbered 458,441. an increase of 54.500 for the year. On December 31 1">6. f1 7 s motor vehicles were licensed in Xcw South Wales.
