I i ELABORATE RITUAL. j i (Received 11.3'j a.m.) | TOKYO, February 6. j Everything is in readiness for the funeral of the late Emperor Yoshihito. which will commence at 6 p.m. on Mon-; dav, when the cortege leaves the Im- j perial Palace. Eight thousand will ae-. tuallv participate. Snow fell heavily yesterday, but thousands of workmen, assisted by a bngat I sun, have already claeared the entire route and approaches to the ceremonial hall at Shinjuku Park, in the western suburb, where before the interment. Shinto services will be held. The funeral procession in the streets will be lighted only by flares, the ritual- j ists f-uneral commissioners, and mu=i- j cians wearing ancient costumes. The | catafalque will be drawn by trained oxen. Prince Chiehibu will represent the Emperor, who will not participate in the procession, but will attend the ceremonial hall proceedings by a different route. A million people are expected to pay homage to the dead Emperor. i
