MOTOR ACCIDENTS.
WOMAN SEVIRELY INJURED. CHILD KNOCKED DOWN". Serious injuries were received last evening by Miss Eunice Comesky, aged 28, of 105, Orange Road, Mount Eden. She was struck by a motor car while stepping from the footpath outside the Dominion Road Post Office for the purpose of boarding a tramcar. The motor car was driven by Mr. P. R. McMahon, of Peary Road, Mount Eden. Miss Comesky was taken to the hospital. where she was formerlv a nurse, suffering from injuries to the" head and other abrasions. She is in a critical condition. Douglas Clayton, aged eight, was knocked down by a motor car driven b - v r " Robinson, of Epsom, on the Great North Road, New Lvnn, vesterdav afternoon. The child " received slight injuries, and was taken to the hospital.
