OLD MAN WITH £77 IN POCKETS. 'By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. this day. Found in Hoon Hay Road, in the cuter suburbs, last night, Alexander McClintock (67), of Timaru, who had £77 in notes in his pocket, was charged at the Police Court to-day with being found on enclosed premises without lawful excuse. An old-age pensioner, defendant was said by the prosecuting sergeant to be not quite rational, and was possibly suffering from sunstroke. He was placed in the care of the Salvation Army for a week.
